Tool 1

This first experience of building a blog and avatar was somewhat overwhelming. It was nice to be with a team of colleagues to get through this first assignment.
We could build teacher blogs to discuss current school topics or book study reflections.

  1. Exactly, and Jennifer C. had some great thoughts to help with our sped community. Now there is a small little group just begging for community and support. I think she will be a great resource for all of us.
Hopefully the PLC will work to benefit everyone by generating a more sharing and fluid professional outlet for communication, ideas, thoughts and resources.
I may have to hire someone to get me through this but once through, I think I will be a better skilled teacher and communicator. Just kidding about the hiring... I have figured out how to comment all by myself. It's full speed ahead from now on!

  2. Ok, I'll try again. I thought I had posted a comment, but it doesn't seem to be here.
Yes, I agree with your ideas and noted that Jennifer C. had some thoughts that will certainly help our sped community. We are few and far between and there just isn't time in the schedule for tons of meetings. An active, working blog will be beneficial to us all.
Sharing idea, having ongoing dialogues with each other to help problem solve, and just communicating with others doing the same thing will be a time saver as well as a wonderful resource.
It is definitely 21st Century stuff... here we come, perhaps kicking a little but here we come! Very exciting!

  3. Dear Julie, sharing a new tool for the benefit of our students will be great. This is another way to continue building the working community that will empower our individual actions as a teachers. Luis Cordero.

  4. The first tool was the easiest for me, but it took me almost a month to get through tool 2!
