Tool #3

I liked the tools available in this section. I think these are very creative ways for students to express their thinking. I definitely see possibilities with brainstorming information and sharing information about a topic, and showing what they know or learned. Could be a twist to a KWL chart.

Tool #2

The Personal Learning Networks have possibilities for teachers to share information and support each other. In the classroom, students and/or teachers could post information for students to provide reflections and comments.

It would be important in the classroom to teach students how to seek comments and also how to respond or post to the blogs. As a teacher, you could model the questioning and responding to the posts. This would be a great way to ask students to use higher order thinking skills.

Five blogs I commented on:
Armando Arias
Beverly Bradley
Arlete Burelo
Lindsey Buse
Monica Calderon
